This year, hundreds of communities nationwide will host a Take 25 event in honor of National Missing Children's Day on May 25. If you're affiliated with a local civic group or other organization, you can be part of this effort to help keep America's children safer.
To help you succeed, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) will provide you with a detailed event kit, including media releases, promotional materials, activity ideas and planning tips. We also have staff on hand to help you plan events, provide valuable safety information, and answer your questions.

- Does your organization have a strong community presence?
- Do your organization’s programs and initiatives fit with NCMEC’s mission to help recover missing children and prevent child sexual exploitation?
- Do you have a convenient location with suitable space and parking to handle attendance?
- Are you equipped to provide shelter in case of rain or windy weather conditions?
- Is your site accessible to people with disabilities?
