Making the world safer for children may seem like an impossible dream. But it’s happening every day, thanks to the efforts of compassionate people working in partnership with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
If you’re part of a parent group, school council or youth organization, you can get involved in our vital cause by taking time to educate others about child safety. Start by becoming familiar with the issues. Then, share important information using our tip sheet and other resources. For inspiration, gather your group at a Take 25 event, where you can see how the promise of a safer world for children is taking shape in your community.
be part of something extraordinary
In the two decades since President Ronald Reagan proclaimed the first National Missing Children’s Day, there have been thousands of individuals who have worked diligently to improve the welfare of children. In many cases, the results have been extraordinary. But there remains much work to be done. We invite you to join NCMEC in the campaign to help keep children safer.
